I believe AI will reshape industries, but belief in a technology does not automatically justify every valuation attached to it. That tension led me to review whether enthusiasm around AI has created bubble-like behavior & whether my investment exposure still fits the level of risk I intend to carry.

This is a review, not an announcement that I sold anything. I am deliberately avoiding public balances, holdings, income, account details or personalized recommendations. The useful lesson is the decision process.

A better review process

Tools such as Monarch can help organize the household view, while ChatGPT can help structure questions, compare scenarios & challenge emotional reasoning. Neither tool replaces verified account data or professional judgment.

I am also reviewing how a workplace retirement plan fits into the broader picture: contribution purpose, employer benefits, time horizon, liquidity needs, concentration & the cost of reacting emotionally. The goal is not to predict a market peak. It is to make a decision that remains understandable after the headlines change.
