Agent Reach is an MIT-licensed open-source project that describes itself as a capability layer for selecting, checking, and routing research tools across web, video, code, RSS, and selected social platforms. That makes it potentially useful to the Atif OS Intelligence Engine.
The integration decision is deliberately narrow. Agent Reach is a replaceable research adapter under the existing harness. It does not replace Living Knowledge, the evidence contract, browser tools, governance, or human review, and it is not bundled into either public website.
Public research first
The first allowed implementation phase is public, zero-auth research after dependency review. Logged-in channels, cookies, browser sessions, private repositories, posting, commenting, and account-changing actions remain off until a separate least-privilege and platform-risk review is approved.
Evidence before knowledge
Every result enters Atif OS as external evidence with its source, date, method, and limitations. A summary is not trusted knowledge merely because an agent produced it. Relevant claims are checked against primary sources before they inform a decision or public asset.
Designed, not installed
This release makes the integration decision permanent without making system-level changes. A future private implementation must begin with a safe inspection, channel allowlist, dependency and license review, rollback plan, credential boundary, and diagnostic evidence.
